8 Tips to Keeping your Kitchen Organized

As I went out to feed the birds, today, I sank up to my knees in the snow as I made my way to the bird feeder. And more snow is expected by the end of this week. I know that this kind of weather makes some people Cabin Fever. Do you get Cabin Fever?

I worked with a woman who said that his therapist told him to get organized. He said, even if you do not, any more than you can spend on the other side of the shelf that you've done something and that is a good thing.

In my parlance a professional organizer of houses, I would do is to take steps to babies. If you have cabin fever and want to get out but can not because of the weather and it is too early for spring cleaning here are 8 tips on organizing your home.

Let's start with the kitchen:

Garde-manger or food shelves: Put like items together, soups in one place, and canned vegetables in another and fruit together, pasta in a place you get the idea. Everything has its place when you need it you will save time and be able to easily see what you have. (He could scream "take" pizza night.) If you have not done for some time, it's a good idea to make sure the cans or bottles are always good to check the dates of expiry and make sure it is bulging. If so, it is certainly an embarrassment and you need to get rid of it.

Snacks: Put them in a basket on a practical level to grasp and go. Or if you have family members that you do not have them, hide them.

Caps: Do you have a plastic or glass bowls used to store leftovers? If lids are always all over the place, put them in a basket by themselves which makes it easy to match the bowl and eliminates hunting for matches. If you keep the lid on the container that takes a lot of space in your cupboard.

Food: Do you have enough space for everything you have? Getting stacking shelves in metal that can double the amount of space in your cupboards. They come in many sizes and there are those corner and directly those who are adjustable. It is a good time to determine whether you like or need all the dishes you have. If you see you're never certain that you do not, or you too for your needs or space, and then make a donation to a charity.

Silverware drawer: Place silverware in a container for that purpose. Larger serving pieces can be placed side. T-slide it in your container back and forth as you open the drawer? A simple solution is to use sticky Velcro on the underside of container works very well for bathroom too drawers where the containers tend to want to drag.

Pans: Place the ones you use most often forward your shelf (if you hang you have no problem finding the right size when you need it). If you have pans with a finish that can be chipped or scratched between paper plates pans prevent that from happening.

If you have any drugs in their cupboards check expiration dates and make sure that small children can not obtain.

Have vases become squatters under your sink? If they belong to a different location, move from their homes.

The kitchens are often the centre of the house of a well-organized way everybody is happy. While you wait for spring, or if you live where it is already spring check the cupboards, take an inventory and get organized.
